The OTP season continues at the weekend with a home game against DVTK.

There have been 73 games between Diosgyor and Vidi over the years in the first division. The record stands at 40 wins for the red and blues, 10 have been drawn and the remaining 23 lost. The goal difference also reads in our favour with 117-74. Sunday's match will be the 37th NB I fixture as the host team. Those have produced 23 Vidi wins, 6 draws and 7 losses. The first win against DVTK in the first division
Our team first played a championship match in Miskolc on the 28th August 1968, which the home team was able to win 2-0. However, this was not the first league game between the two teams, as a few months earlier, on the 10th March 1968, we entertained DVTK in Székesfehérvár, and we won 1-0 with Karsai's goal. By the way, Karsai is the most successful Vidi player against DVTK, he found the Miskolc net nine times in league matches. The aforementioned 1-0 victory was the first domestic NB I match in the history of Vidi and also the first NB I victory in the history of Vidi.

As a Vidi player, Ferenc Horváth scored two league goals against DVTK, but he also scored against Vidi when he played football for DVTK.

In 1992, we beat DVTK 3-0 in Székesfehérvár. It is interesting that the head coach of the visiting side was István Sándor, the father of György Sándor, who later won two championship titles with Vidi. The first goal of the match was scored by Ferenc Horváth, who also played as a player for both teams and also sat on the bench of Vidi and DVTK as a coach.

In the summer of 2005 our team lost by one goal in Miskolc. The main stat of the meeting was that in the summer Ferenc Horváth, who had been transferred from Vidi to DVTK, got the winning goal from a penalty.

The 99th CL-final came to life in 2015 in Miskolc
The final Champions League final of the 20th century saw Manchester United come from behind to win 2-1 against Bayern Munich after leading 1-0 in the 90th minute, but the English turned the match around in the three-minute injury time- just like five years ago, Vidi managed to do the same in Miskolc.
